Replacing an electric boiler, kitchen boiler or gas water heater costs € 250 to € 550 in labour, including connection, testing and disposal of the old unit. The new unit itself comes on top (€ 200-800 depending on capacity and brand).
Gas work (water heater, gas line) may only be carried out by a certified installer; this has been a legal requirement in the Netherlands since 2023. Affiliated companies meet that requirement.
